Competitive Sports

Competitive Sports offers programming in the areas of Intramurals and Sport Clubs. For more information about each area of competitive sports and how to join click on the appropriate box below.

Intramural Sports

Intramural Sports is one of the most active programs on campus with more than 10,000 participations annually. It provides an opportunity for students and faculty/staff to remain active by competing in their favorite sport(s) during the school year. Whether you are looking for a recreational or competitive level of play, Intramural Sports has something to offer.

Club Sports

The Club Sports Program is comprised of student organizations that are competitive, recreational, and/or instructional in nature. Our clubs participate with and compete against other colleges and universities, however they are not part of the NCAA. These recognized student organizations receive support from the Department of Recreation & Wellness and offer a variety of individual and team sports activities for student involvement. Previous experience is not a prerequisite for Club Sports.

Who can participate

To be eligible to participate in the Intramural Sports program, the student, undergraduate or graduate, must be enrolled for a minimum of one credit hour and pay the student activity fee, while the part-time or full-time faculty/staff member must purchase a current Kaplan Center membership. Spouses of students, faculty / staff, alumni, and associate members are not eligible to participate.

The Club Sports program is open to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in a minimum of one credit hour and who pay the student activity fee.
