Special Hours Notice:

We want to thank you for your continued patience over these last few months. In coordination with the governor’s announcement this week regarding indoor fitness facilities, the Kaplan Center will be opening on Saturday, September 12th at 10:00am.

For the fall semester, our hours of operation will be:
Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 10:00pm
Friday 6:00am – 8:00pm
Saturday 10:00am – 7:00pm
Sunday 10:00am – 10:00pm

Over the next week, we will be updating our website and communicating details regarding your membership and important considerations when visiting the Kaplan Center.

Welcome to ActiveU!

ActiveU is an employee wellness program designed to encourage UNC Greensboro Faculty/Staff to become more active by participating in a weekly cardio/strength group fitness class hosted by the Department of Recreation & Wellness. All programs are offered in collaboration with HealthyUNC Greensboro

ActiveU Group Exercise Classes (Kaplan Center)

ActiveU classes are free group fitness classes for UNCG employees sponsored by HealthyUNCG in partnership with UNCG Department of Recreation and Wellness! All classes are held at the Kaplan Center for Wellness. You do NOT have to be a member of the Kaplan Center for Wellness to participate in ActiveU programming.

There is NO need to register for ActiveU classes. To attend a class, bring your employee ID card and let the front desk attendant know you are there for ActiveU. A sign-in sheet will be provided.
